Before being in love with crafts, I'm a incessant reader. Adore collecting buttons. Listening to the radio is part of my crafting mood.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Textiles
I recommend keeping the fabric jewels in a drawer, in a bag, or in a dry place without direct sunlight. Keep away from small children because they can be dangerous (like any jewelry). Like all fabrics, if exposed outdoors in the long term they become dusty, discolored and odorous.

It would be a good idea to wash your necklace by hand from time to time. I suggest you to soak it in warm water and very little liquid detergent (for synthetic textiles) for about 15/30 minutes. Rinse gently, squeeze just a little with your hands and leave it to dry on a drying rack not in the sun directly. Don’t forget to put an empty bowl underneath for dripping. Absolutely not to be put in the tumble dryer.

Wood
Swipe the item with a damp cloth.

Materials

Textiles
We use scraps of cotton, jersey, stretch cotton, microfiber, acrylic fabric sold in large yarns, originated from EU countries. In particular, I purchase from a company that personally collects threads from textile factories in Northern Italy, for which it has the one-off availability of a color or pattern.

Wood
Walnut shells and olive wood are collected personally by my uncle in our field. Driftwood is collected on the local beach. Other kind of wood is gifted by the carpenter of the village as waste.

Craft room

We work from home in a dedicated room. We don't have pets and don't smoke.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I pack orders with pages of magazines decorated with raffia. For gift wrapping I use brown craft paper or cardboard boxes made by myself.
